REGIONAL MANAGER - CALGARY

TREC, Inc. has an immediate need for a Regional Manager to perform and oversee oil and gas environmental projects for a client based in Calgary with potential overseas assignments. Successful candidates would be responsible for management of multiple projects, environmental evaluations, engineering, branch office P&L, business development, marketing and staff development. Experience with environmental aspects of the oil and gas and mining industries a must. Additional experience with mineral processing plants, process equipment, concrete, steel, electrical systems, control systems and construction, are desirable. Ability to conduct and direct engineering activities is required. TREC specializes in development of strategic environmental solutions, environmental planning, permit applications, technical and financial feasibility studies, reclamation, process design for the oil and gas and precious metals, base metals and uranium mining and mineral processing industries. 

Candidates should have a minimum of a BS or BA with 10 to 15+ years of experience in a technical field. Prefer candidates with previous consulting or natural resource industry experience. Computer and communication skills, along with hardworking attitude are a must. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus, an aptitude for 3D spatial relationships, and project management experience is highly desirable.

CIVIL ENGINEER

TREC, Inc. has an employment opportunity for a Civil Engineer in Casper, WY. Seeking candidates with a BS degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 4 years experience as an engineer in training.  Responsibilities include engineering design, plan and specification preparation, and construction observation. This position requires strong communication and computer skills.  Candidate must have a willingness to learn and have the ability to manage multiple tasks.  Knowledge of AutoCAD is a must.  This candidate must be able to work independently and as a team member.  May be required to be a team leader for individual project tasks, dependent on experience level.  Detail oriented a must.  Some travel may be required.  This is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate. The salary is dependent on education and experience.   

MID and SENIOR LEVEL ENGINEERS

TREC, Inc. has employment opportunities for Mid and Senior Level Engineers in Bozeman and Butte, Montana based office. Seeking candidates with BS degree in engineering and/or science degree 5 to 15 years technical or design experience.  Must be a good communicator, work well in groups, manage small to mid-size projects and be able to adjust to a dynamic environment. Desire to travel, construction oversight/management, OSHA training, AutoCAD experience a plus.

ENGINEERS/SCIENTISTS

TREC, Inc. has employment opportunities in Montana. Seeking candidates with BS in construction engineering technology (CET), engineering, science or equal with 1 to 5 years technical experience.  Computer and communication skills, along with hardworking attitude are a must.   Applicants must work well independently and be able to adjust to a dynamic environment. Job opportunities will require travel. Construction oversight/management, OSHA training, AutoCAD experience a plus.

SENIOR ENGINEER

TREC, Inc. has an employment opportunity for a Senior Engineer in Casper, Wy. Seeking candidates w/ 12+ years exp. in civil engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and development of civil design drawings for site grading, embankments/small dams, septic and small wastewater treatment systems. In addition, specification and bid package development and construction management/oversight experience a plus. Also design or working knowledge of P&IDs, process equipment (pressure vessels, tankage, piping, pumps, etc.), instrumentation, process system specifications and related bid documents a plus. Must have professional engineer registration. Responsibilities will include project management and mentoring staff, budget and schedule control, design QA/QC, client interaction and client development. Computer and communication skills with hardworking attitude are a must. OSHA training, AutoCAD experience considered a plus. 

SENIOR GEOLOGIST

TREC, Inc. has employment opportunities for a Senior Geologist in Casper, WY. Seeking candidates with BS geology. 15+ years experience, strong computer skills and hard working attitude required. Uranium geology exploration, resource estimation and development evaluation experience desired. Permitting experience with governmental agencies and GIS experience a plus.

CORPORATE HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER

TREC, Inc. has an employment opportunity for a Corporate Health & Safety Manager in Casper, WY. Seeking candidates with min BS Occupational Safety & Health degree preferred CSP and 5+ years safety experience.  Desire to travel, uranium and oil and gas experience, and OSHA training a plus.  H&S Manager will be responsible for safety management of two field offices in the Casper, WY area and two offices in Montana.
