Douglass H. Graves, P.E. Mr. Graves has over 30 years experience in engineering and environmental remediation. His primary areas of expertise are strategic planning for environmental issues in mining and oil and gas, geotechnical engineering, hydrology, construction management, and project management. His experience has included development of strategic plans for addressing environmental issues in mining and oil and gas in the United States, Russia and Eastern Europe, quantification of environmental liabilities, business risk evaluations and prioritization of environmental programs. He has also performed and/or managed site investigations, development of feasibility studies, design and construction oversight and environmental program implementation for mining, mineral processing and oil and gas, EIS preparation, water supply and water treatment.
Mr. Graves has prepared and implemented strategic environmental plans for programs exceeding $1 bln, designs for tailings dams, waste containment impoundments, mine waste repositories, dams, water treatment impoundments, stream restoration, tailings pond reclamation, mine reclamation, facility closure, roads and pipelines. He has managed and/or been the engineer of record for engineering and environmental design/construction projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to $50 million. |

Matthew J. Yovich, P.E. Mr. Yovich has over 19 years of experience in civil/environmental and management consulting. His primary areas of expertise include quantification of environmental conditions and liabilities, strategic planning, project cost evaluations and liability reduction and management for mining and industrial clients. He has specific tecnical experience in site investigation and characterization, land reclamation, cap and repository design, construction QA/QC and management, surface water hydrology, sediment transport, stream restoration, hydraulics and general civil engineering. He also provides strategy development and agency negotiation expertise. He has been responsible for contract and budget management for projects up to $11+ million, and has provided technical expertise for environmental liability settlements with value in excess of $40 million.

Craig B. Deeney Mr. Deeney has over 20 years of experience in assessment and management of impacted resources, ground water treatment, storm water control, environmental assessments, and hazardous waste treatment and disposal. His primary areas of expertise include on-site and off-site treatment of contaminated media and process wastes from various manufacturing facilities, water treatment, and mineral processing operations. In addition to his process/treatment background, Mr. Deeney has been effective in clearly communicating technical issues to clients on all levels so that appropriate and informed environmental management decisions can be made. This ability to accurately summarize and clearly guide has proven to be effective on the remedial investigations, feasibility studies, environmental assessments, waste management, water management and treatment projects that Mr. Deeney has contributed to. Through this experience, he has developed an extensive knowledge of federal (RCRA, CERCLA) and local regulations as well as ASTM guidelines directing Phase I and II Environmental Assessments.

Kevin R. Bethke Mr. Bethke has over 15 years of experience in civil/environmental consulting for the mining and mineral processing industry. His primary areas of expertise include mine waste reclamation, waste consolidation and cap design, field sampling and investigation, surface water hydrology, stream reclamation, mine waste treatment, revegetation design, weed management, construction quality assurance/ quality control and project planning and management. In addition, Mr. Bethke has experience and expertise in reclamation alternative evaluations and cost estimating, development of permit applications, bid package development, project health and safety coordination and implementation, contractor selection and negotiations, construction QA/QC and site operation and maintenance. He has been responsible for contract and budget management for projects in excess of $2.5+ million. In addition to his mining related experience, Mr. Bethke is trained in and has performed multiple wetland delineations and associated 404 and 310 permit applications in compliance with US Army Corps of Engineers and local regulatory Agencies’ protocols for wetland delineation and jurisdictional determinations. |
